Children`s Song No.1 is a little song which for me has the character of a nursery rhyme with its small, repeating melody phrases but with a very distinctive chord structure. It was originally intended as a jazz ballad.

That's why you see three different versions here. The first one is my original: I improvised the piece freely, i.e. without a click, so the notes are also without informative value.

For me this version is of course the musically more beautiful one.

Played freely in the lecture you can also see exactly how the topic is developing, as I hesitate a little in several places to continue the topic, but that's music….

I made the second version later in order to have playable notes and you can hear the difference very clearly: the first version meticulously at the tempo, the second musically much more gripping…. That's how you should play it too….
