Die Klavierschule - My Piano Book - Band 6 - Add on - Best of

Here is the last Chapter of my new PIANO SCHOOL
The Add-on – Best of

This volume means a lot to me. It is like a look back at many years full of music, encounters, inspiration – and countless moments at the piano.

In it you will find my most beautiful pieces from the last 15 years, as they were originally created – in their original arrangement.

And as a little gift, I’ve added my old tutorials from music school via the QR code – memories of a wonderful time of teaching, learning and making music together.

Some of these pieces have been with me for a very long time.

“Normandie”, for example, was created with the French coast in mind – the light, the wind, the vastness of the sea.
“Spirit of the Sea” carries precisely this longing – the feeling of becoming one with the sea.

Then there are the quieter moments:

“A Place far out”, a magical piece by my former student Katharina Noll

“Secret Affair” and “The Piano in Me”, which for me is something like a musical look inwards.

I am particularly fond of “Miss You”, which many of you may know from my YouTube channel. It’s a piece about missing, but also about hope.

“Ride the Clouds” and “Go with It”, on the other hand, bring lightness, movement and a little sense of adventure into play – they challenge you, but they also carry you.

And then there are those calm, warm sounds again: “Silently” and “Lazy Sunday”, which simply tell of letting go – of days when the world becomes quieter and everything is in balance.

I sincerely hope that you feel the same when you play these pieces as I felt when I was composing them – joy, peace, maybe a little bit of melancholy.
For me, music is always an encounter – with yourself, with memories, with the moment.
If you manage to do that when you play, then everything is just right.

In this volume I have realized new arrangements both in the musical notation and in the key signature.

New are the QR codes that take you directly to the videos – great for practicing with your smartphone or tablet

You will see that the access to these world-famous pieces is much easier and more direct without losing their spirituality.
