Ode to Joy - An die Freude

The famous Song by Ludwig in my Arrangement

"Ode to Joy" is a famous poem by Friedrich Schiller, written in 1785. It praises the ideals of friendship, joy, and unity among people. It became especially famous through Ludwig van Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, in which he set the poem to music in the choral finale in 1824.

The piece is now known as the European Anthem and symbolizes the values of peace, freedom, and fraternity. In particular, the line “All men shall become brothers” represents the desire for a united humanity. Beethoven’s melody is one of the most famous musical themes worldwide.
