The blues is still alive and remains a timeless genre that touches people all over the world. In 2008, during our first CD production, a fascinating encounter took place. Jimi Lienert, a talented musician from Bergheim/Erft, established contact with HaGü Schmitz, and that's how Dietmar and I met for the first time.

It was a magical moment when we came together, and it turned out that we were a great team. The RW Corner Band was born, a group of musicians who could play at the highest level while unfolding in a relaxed atmosphere. From the beginning, we felt the special energy and synergy present in our collaboration.

The first CD production was a milestone for us. It was an exciting journey where we worked together on our songs and brought them to life. Each musician contributed their skills and passion, contributing to the project's success. It was a creative process in which we inspired each other and constantly discovered new facets of our music.

Sadly, Jimi left us much too soon, but his contribution to our work remains unforgettable. He wrote the lyrics for this special blues that deeply touches us and holds a special place in our hearts. We are deeply grateful to Jimi for his valuable connections and the beautiful lyrics that complement and enrich our music.
